Working service animals are permitted as defined by WA RCW 49.60.040(25) and must adhere to a strict code of conduct as noted below. • The service animal must be under the complete control of it’s handler. • The service animal MUST be housebroken, not urinating or defecating in public places• No contact with guests, animals, or exhibit fences.• No barking, running, jumping or disruptive behavior.
Failure to adhere will be grounds for service animals removal. This is for your animal’s safety and ours.
Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Washington State Law and are not permitted on Swans Trail Farms property, including all parking lots.
Misrepresentation of an animal as a service animal, under WA State Law RCW 49.60.214 is a civil infraction with a penalty of up to $500 and the removal of the animal from the premise.
