Baby Animals & Berries Festival
Applications open: April 13
Early access for former staff: April 1
Age requirement: Must be 14 by May 1
Commitment: Commit to working 8 of the 9 festival dates
Fall Harvest Festival

Early access for former employees: July 1
Age requirement: Must be 14 by August 1
Important Notes

Early Application for Younger Teens: If you're 14-15 years old, we highly recommend applying as soon as possible, as these specific positions tend to fill very quickly.

Returning Employees: If you worked for Swans Trail Farms in a previous season, you must still complete the application to be considered for 2026.

Mandatory Orientation: All hired team members are required to attend our Orientation.

Mandatory Training: All hired team members must also attend training.

Mobile Device Requirement: You'll need access to a mobile device (smartphone) for managing your shifts and timeclock verification.

Patience & Empathy: Can stay calm under pressure and help guests with understanding and a helpful approach.

Reliable & Punctual: Always on time for your shifts and consistently present when scheduled.

Eager to Learn: Open to feedback, willing to follow instructions, and quick to learn new tasks and procedures.

Problem-Solving: Can spot a guest's issue and find solutions or know when to ask a supervisor for help.

Team Player: Willing to work well with colleagues and support other departments to ensure everyone has a great day.
Physical & Practical Requirements

Age Requirement: Must be at least 14 years by deadline

Physical Stamina: Able to stand for long periods and work comfortably outdoors in various weather conditions.

Fall Availability:

Weekends are a Must: You need to be available to work most Saturdays and Sundays throughout the entire Fall Harvest Festival season (September through October). These are our busiest and most critical days!

Weekday Availability (especially for Field Trips): We also need team members available for daytime weekday shifts, particularly during the earlier day for school field trips.

Full Season Commitment: Able to work for the entire duration of the Fall Harvest Festival season.

Transportation: Have a reliable way to get to and from Swans Trail Farms for all your scheduled shifts. Carpooling is a great option, but remember that specific carpool schedules can only sometimes be accommodated.
Experience

No Formal Experience? No Problem! We welcome first-time job seekers and provide a safe, supportive environment for you to learn valuable workplace skills.

Prior Responsibility (a plus): If you have experience showing responsibility, teamwork, or helping others (like babysitting, volunteer work, school clubs, sports teams, or helping family), please let us know!
