Yes, parking is free. Please be aware that after heavy rain the parking lot can get muddy. Our parking attendants will be there to assist you!

Yes! When you arrive, our parking attendants can direct you to handicapped parking spaces. Note that the terrain is grass and we do not have paved handicapped parking.

We are a working farm and our fields can get a bit muddy after rain. Please dress accordingly and wear close-toed shoes.

• For emergencies, don’t hesitate to call 911 and direct them to 7301 Rivershore Rd. Snohomish, WA 98290.
• Any staff member wearing a red safety backpack is ready to help with minor injuries such as cuts or bee stings. 
• If you need further assistance, find the nearest employee and have them radio for a manager. All managers are trained in First Aid/CPR/AED use.
• We do have an AED on site. It is centrally located in the Apple Shack.

Part of the appeal of eating local food is the knowledge that it’s been grown responsibly and with extra care. The philosophy that guides how we farm across all our crops is a commitment to ecological farming. This means balancing the needs of our crops with the health of the entire farm ecosystem, and always working to promote a balance between the two. No reservation is required for U-Pick. Simply come during our posted picking hours and enjoy a day in the fields!

No—there is no admission fee to enter the strawberry fields, pumpkin patch, or apple orchard. You only pay for the strawberries you pick, which are priced by the pound. This way, you can enjoy the experience of being out in the fields and only pay for what you bring home.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. We also suggest dressing for the weather, as the fields can be warm and sunny.

Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, water, and a sun hat, as the fields can get very hot with limited shade. 

We provide containers for picking, but you’re welcome to bring your own for transporting U-pick produce home if you prefer.

For the safety of our animals, guests, and crops, pets are not permitted at the farm.

We do allow trained service animals as defined by ADA guidelines. However, emotional support animals (ESAs) and therapy animals are not permitted at the farm.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep the farm safe and enjoyable for everyone. 

We are open rain or shine, so we recommend planning to come prepared for the weather. Bring rain gear and dress accordingly, as most days we will still be open even if it’s raining.

We do not usually delay opening or cancel U-Pick due to weather, but in rare cases of severe weather or safety concerns, we may need to make adjustments. Please check our website or social media for the latest updates before your visit.

Our U-Pick strawberry season typically begins in late May and runs through mid-June, depending on weather conditions and berry availability.

Throughout the season, different strawberry varieties ripen at different times. Availability can vary based on weather, field conditions, and how quickly berries are picked. We recommend checking our website and social media for the latest updates before your visit to see what varieties are currently available and which fields are open.

For the best flavor and quality, we recommend eating or freezing your strawberries within 24 hours of picking. Our strawberries are grown for flavor, not long shelf life, so they’re best enjoyed fresh.

If you won’t be heading straight home after picking or have a longer drive, we suggest bringing a cooler with ice to keep your berries chilled and fresh on the way home.

We grow several strawberry varieties throughout the season, each with its own unique flavor and harvest window:

• Sweet Sunrise – An early-season berry known for its bright red color, juicy texture, and sweet flavor.
• Shuksan – A Pacific Northwest favorite with excellent sweetness and rich strawberry flavor.
• Hood – Famous for its exceptional taste, making it a popular choice for fresh eating, jams, and desserts.
• Totem – A classic variety valued for its deep red color and versatility in preserving and freezing.
• Puget Crimson – A newer variety with outstanding flavor, firmness, and vibrant color.
• Albion – A larger berry with a sweet flavor and excellent shelf life.

In the strawberry fields, the main activity is U-Pick strawberries, which is fun for the whole family to enjoy together!

We do remind guests to keep a close eye on children at all times, as this is an active working farm with uneven ground, equipment, and ongoing farm operations nearby. We appreciate your help in keeping everyone safe while you enjoy your visit.
