Meet the Apples You'll Find at Swans Trail Farms
While the apples aren't quite ready yet, the countdown to apple season is officially on! As summer begins to wind down, our orchard is busy making its final push toward harvest. After months of pruning, watering, thinning, and caring for the trees, we're starting to see the fruit size up and ripen—a sure sign that one of our favorite seasons is just around the corner.
There's something special about fall in the orchard. Before long, the branches will be heavy with crisp, flavorful apples, ready to be enjoyed fresh from the farm. Whether you're picking up a few to snack on, baking your family's favorite apple pie, or trying a variety you've never had before, we can't wait to share this year's harvest with you.
Honeycrisp
If we had to guess, Honeycrisp would probably be one of the first apples to disappear from the orchard each fall. It's crisp, incredibly juicy, and has that perfect balance of sweet and tart that keeps you reaching for another bite. It's the kind of apple that tastes like fall.

Cosmic Crisp
Cosmic Crisp is one of Washington's newest success stories, and we're proud to grow it here at Swans Trail Farms. These apples are extra crunchy with a rich, balanced flavor that's both sweet and slightly tart. They also stay fresh-looking longer after being sliced, making them a favorite for sharing with family and friends.
Perfect for: Fresh eating, charcuterie boards, baking, and just about anything else.
Ambrosia
If you enjoy a sweeter apple, Ambrosia might become your new favorite. It has a naturally sweet, honey-like flavor with very little tartness, making it a hit with both kids and adults. Every bite is crisp, refreshing, and full of flavor.

Every apple you'll find in our orchard started as a spring blossom months ago. Thanks to plenty of sunshine, a little help from our hardworking bees, and a whole lot of care from our farm crew, those blossoms have grown into the apples we're so excited to share with you this fall.
